A leading arts organization experiencing declining patron retention rates and subscription revenues engaged Corbin to help architect and activate a strategy to drive engagement and fundraising.
We began with a comprehensive patron survey to capture baseline perceptions and demographics, as well as identify key issues and concerns, strengths and opportunities, programming preferences, and purchasing behaviors. The survey yielded nearly 6,000 responses. Our detailed analysis, deep insights, and actionable recommendations ignited several actions, including a new brand and marketing approach, a redesigned website capable of sophisticated e-commerce transactions, the implementation of a dynamic pricing strategy, and a refreshed annual gala. We collaborated with executive leadership and staff to execute these efforts.
Our research-based insights, deep understanding of best practice, and actionable recommendations served as the catalyst for transformational organizational change and strategic direction. Implementing the full recommendation set led to a meaningful increase in patron attendance, retention and giving, as well as a record for annual gala fundraising.
Rebecca Corbin and her team at Corbin Advisors have been integral to The Bushnell’s success as a 21st Century Performing Arts Center. Her personal leadership coupled with the efforts of Corbin Advisors to enhance and expand our marketing, event and patron experience efforts has had significant financial impact as well as improved patron experience and has played an important role in setting the stage for The Bushnell’s future. To remain relevant and engaged with our community, The Bushnell – like so many other nonprofit and for-profit organizations – has to evolve and grow. Our work with Corbin Advisors has been an important part of our continued work to do just that.
