What is your role and responsibilities?
I lead Corbin’s corporate strategy development and execution with a focus on client experience, service and solution innovation, and market share growth. At the end of the day, it’s about ensuring our team is building trust with clients and delivering exceptional value, all while scaling Corbin thoughtfully and effectively to sustain our differentiation and excellence. My efforts in this regard are built on nearly a decade of advising boards of directors, executives, and IR leaders on investor sentiment and investor communication best practices, knowing how our clients think and the challenges they are facing.
What do you love most about the work you do at Corbin Advisors?
It’s two-fold. First, the opportunity to partner with companies of all shapes and sizes going through unique journeys. Companies and their executives are navigating an ever-increasingly complex landscape and trying to rise above the fray to attract high-quality, long-term investors. There are no two companies the same, and no two conversations the same. Second, having seen the company grow more than ten-fold in terms of talent since I started a decade ago, I am inspired by the expertise and diverse perspectives our colleagues bring to the table. Whether it’s a colleague with a background in investment banking, equity research, or corporate strategy, we ensure they are equipped with the Corbin playbook and best practices and that they are enabled to layer on their own expertise.
In 2024, you were recognized with the CEO Award for consistently delivering above expectations. What inspires you?
I’m inspired by the longevity of our client relationships. It takes a high standard of excellence, consistent collaboration, and superior execution to continue to partner with leading global companies across their journeys. Once you partner with Corbin, we hear more and more of our clients say, “We have a challenge. Call Corbin.” That is built on a culture of entrepreneurialism – we started as a one woman, one product firm and have transformed into a powerhouse in our industry.
What‘s the best advice you would give to someone who is just starting their career or looking at Corbin Advisors for their first career opportunity?
It’s rare to get the opportunity to engage or work for Boards, executives, and IROs so early in your career. Seize that opportunity – and because Corbin is a fast-growing firm, you have the ability to demonstrate excellence by working with and learning from the best. Be a sponge, but also be bold in bringing your own ideas to the table.
